Nikki at True Bliss Florals is AMAZING!!!
Our floral arrangments were simply beautiful--I just wish I had time to stare at them all night. We don't have pro pics back yet, but I will be sure to post pics of the flowers later. They will speak for themselves.
I was especially impressed with the ideas and suggestions that Nikki had. I had an inkling of an idea of what I wanted (traditional floral centerpieces), and my fiance wanted something completely different (trio of vases with submerged orchids topped by floating candles). She had several ideas on how we could compromise. In the end, I won the centerpiece argument, and Nikki suggested another way to incorporate what he wanted (submerged flowers on cocktail tables).
I didn't have a good idea of what I wanted our flowers to look like, and I basicaly gave her our colors (berry purple and lime green), a couple of photos, and our budget, and she took it from there. She made some suggestions, and included photos in her emails of ideas she had. Her ideas and photos were really helpful to me. I'm sure she could also design florals to match your vision, but I just didn't really have one.
Regarding costs, Nikki was very open to working with my budget. Unlike some other florists on Maui, who start at $150 per centerpiece, for example, I was able to ballpark a price (definitely under $150), and she could tell me what my options were for that amount. She suggested different ways I could get the most bang for my buck, including using cheaper (but still cool!) flowers like button mums and spider mums.
I communicated with Nikki solely through email. She was very quick to respond, always within a couple of days, if not later that day or even immediately. Not that I had any urgent issues, but it was still nice. As I said earlier, she included photos of what she was talking about, which was very useful.
Overall, very highly recommended!!! I really can't say enough good things. Please consider booking with True Bliss!
