Welcome Bags..... What to do if guests are arriving before we are?

Hello,

Just looking for suggestions. We are only having 9 guests accompany us for our destination wedding but I was trying to think of special things to do for them. The problem is, 2 guests are arriving 3 days before us, and then 7 guests are arriving the same day as us. So, I'm wondering, whats the best way to leave something nice in the room for them if we are not able to do it our selves? Do peopel mail stuff to the hotel etc? Ideas?

I also have guests arriving to Hawaii before me. I didn't plan on doing much more than meeiting up with them the day we get there and giving them their OOT bag. Even though it would be pretty touching knowing I went to the trouble to mail something, I also know my guests won't judge me since I didnt.

We have a few arriving two days before us. We are waiting until the Monday night Welcome BBQ to give everyone theirs. Our last guest arrives early that day so it works.

Is there a time that you plan on see them or meeting up for a meal? That may be a good time to give them.

we will see our guests on a wednesday, which is the day after most arrive and 4 days after my parents. We are taking everyoen to a Luau... maybe thats enough? Our guests are not the type that would expect anythign at all, I just thought something would be a nice touch...

My sister arrives 2 days before us and everyone else arrived the same day. I gave the people who were staying in the same hotel as us there stuff that day just before dinner and the rest when we all met up for dinner that night. We were a small party so we only made 7 bags.

Thanks girls for the info. Maybe I'll call their hotel and see if they do something like wine in the room, I can have it there when they check in, with a nice note. That way I"m not running aroudn trying to make bags etc. I'm trying to make this as easy and stressfree as possible

We are givng our OOT bags out at our welcome BBQ. That way it doesn't matter who gets there before us.

We just did ours as we saw people, so the few who arrived before us jsut got theirs a day or two later. We also made our up when we arrived in Hawaii mostly, so we couldn't have sent on in earlier anyway

We just gave them to people whenever we ran across them the first time. Our guests were staying in a number of different places, many of which were privately owned condos, so it wouldn't have worked logistically to have the welcome bags in their rooms. They were all really surprised and happy to receive them.
