Registry!

We did it today at Macy's.
How cool. It was fun running around with that scanner pretending we could afford everything. We are also thinking of doing Bed Bath and then linking everything to registry360.com so we can just add a few extras from other stores.

We just did Macy's a couple weeks ago... They had a great sip and scan event with light appetizers so we figured why not... Even though we're still far out. Also just started Bed, Bath, and Beyond. You are able to get free stuff just for registering for X amount of items. We'll also be doing a Honeyfund. I struggled with whether or not to do one for awhile. But as I talked with a lot of people they actually thought it was a good idea. Also due to the fact that FI and I travel as often as possible and people know that we value traveling more than household items!

We did the sip n' scan at Macy's but then a friend of mine just got married and she was registered at Macy's and lots of the items arrived broken (china) and some items weren't updated as complete in the registry so she got lots of duplicates and their customer service people weren't super helpful so we have since unregistered from Macy's.

We did register at myregistry.com which is similar to registry360 and so far have registered at Crate & Barrel, Amazon.com, Williams-Sonoma and Bed Bath & Beyond through that site which creates one registry list for your guests to view and then you can sync your registries to it when you add new items.

We registered at Amazon and Crate and Barrel.  Honestly, Amazon pretty much has EVERYTHING you can think of so we didn't see a need to do one of those hybrid ones.  We had wine glasses, sound systems, work benches, and more all on one

Did Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, & Crate & Barrel. I have to say Bed Bath & Beyond was great. We went to one that has all the fine china & good wine glasses, etc...they were fabulous & have been great with exchanges & returns. So I HIGHLY recommend them. We even had a lady hunt down the towels we'd ordered that were discontinued...they are amazing!
