Paradise Cove??/

Got Help? I need it .We were going to have a 20,000 dollar event in Culver City, Ca but now I have changed it. I really want something simple! I want to get married in Oahu, Waikiki on the beach with only about 30 guest. Afterwards I want to go to a nice Luau and party the night away! Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking about Paradise Cove, what do you think?

Hello and welcome. I think a beach wedding sounds fantastic!! And Paradise Cove is so much fun! I have been to that luau 2 times now... just 2 weeks ago I went with 11 of my family members!! We had a blast!!! We took gorgeous pics and the sunset was to die for!! Food was YUMMY and the dancers were amazing!

I think that's a great idea I've also been to paradise cove twice and I really liked it for a group of thirty it would be a lot of fun. The food is good and you can choose which meal type you'd like for hour guests. Like what was said in the earlier post the dancing is great too. Honestly if you want to go for a fun low stress wedding I'd totally suggest paradise cove it's so pretty there. I'm kjust not too sure bout the protocols on beach weddings. There is the secret beach which is right by paradise cove it's so nice! Good luck w planning!

I've done the Luau at Paradise Cove too and it is awesome. I just think it depends on what kind of feel you want for your wedding. It's huge with tons of people. For me that would be a drawback, but it is beautiful and a great time. If I remember correctly it ends about 9 or 9:30 pm.

I think I have been to all of the luau's on the island - and I would say that Paradise Cove is by far the best!! It is soo much fun, they keep you very entertained, the food is fabulous and the dinner entertainment is INCREDIBLE!!! Thanks for reminding me that this is an activity that we want to incorporate into our wedding as well!! Leah

Another option is Germaine's Luau, located on the same side of the island as Paradise Cove. I've never been to Germaine's, but it's another luau option that Knotties have used.http://www.germainesluau.com/

We went this route, small wedding (20 peeps, no beach though), with "public" luau afterwards. We used Germaines, mainly because of the cost difference. They were wonderous! They reserved tables for us and even called us on stage for our first dance. :o) Photos here (umm...hubbers got called on stage to do the hula too): http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeremy_mariko/sets/72157615164493438/

I love Germaine's, I've been there twice. A picture of the food (I think it was my brother's plate). So you get a sense of what I meant before. (sorry pic is so big!)
