NWR:5 things? 10 things?

(I posted this on the nestie board but thought it was a good time for a NWR post here!) I was bored during a break at work, so I was looking at the books they have at a local pharmacy, and there was one called 20 things (I think that's what it was called, saw it sometime last week). It was about a woman recently widowed, and a group of widowed friends she had with whom she decided she would write a list of 20 things she still wanted to experience/accomplish in her life  .... I know this is a pretty familiar idea, but just wondering if anyone wanted to list theirs?  I said 5 or 10 things to make it easier to think of - but wait, I guess narrowing down to 5 major things may be more difficult that listing more.  Well, list however many you'd like - I'd love to read more about you!

Some of mine are (in no particular order of importance): 1. complete a triathlon - at least sprint level - which is what I am training for and signed up to do this Sep 20!  (ack!) 2. be a great mother.  If this is not possible, volunteer somewhere where I can make a positive impact with children, (esp thinking foster children). 3. get the fittest I possibly can - and be able to admire my muscles! 4. have a happy and lasting marriage, one that I work on and am vigilant of so that it never breaks like my first one did.  Thankfully we get along so well it is much easier to be married to him! 5. live a life in which I feel that most of my time is spent doing something worthwhile, some of that time of course something enjoyable, doing something where I am being the best self I can be. 6. be creative - live life while making and/or writing things that I really enjoyed while doing, and something that I feel proud of myself after. 7. strive to always be a good friend. 8. travel to beautiful and interesting places....  greece, italy again, france, new zealand are some on my list.  ok, I think my brain is done for now!

I want to see the Northern Lights too!!  They look amazing.... It's so sad that they say the majority of the Great Barrier Reef is supposed to die by 2050 because of global warming.... I hope that doesn't happen!  I can't remember from the article if there is even anything that can be done to prevent that eventuality.

    1. Own a house.2. Go to Mexico.3. Build something (I always wanted to work on cars, but anything else that is pretty large will do)4. Experience Europe.5. Have kids. 6. Learn more about my family and where we come from. I never met my dad's dad (he passed away a month before I was born), and never really knew my other grandpa (he just passed away as well). I would love to sit with my grandmas and just have them tell me about their lives. One of them is writing her life story, which will be fun!

FI and I were just talking about this kind of thing the other day and he sat down and made his list out immediately. 1.  Finally marry the most incredible man I have ever met. 2.  Visit Australia again and New Zealand while I'm there.3.  Finish the book I started writing and actually get it published.4.  Travel, Travel, Travel - Europe mostly.5.  Buy a condo on the beach.
