STDs too late?

I'm 8 months out and haven't even started on STDs. Is it too late to send them out? Should I just send out the invitations instead?

I would send them just in case . . . especially if it's a destination wedding! My wedding is 10-9-10 next year, so FI and I are sending our STDs out at the end of the year (10 months out) so people can plan to be there!

I agree with pp--right about now would be great!  Even up to 6 months ahead I think is still appropriate, but probably the sooner, the better.  I just sent ours out, and that's about 8 1/2 months out.

Unless your invitations are all done and ready to go, I'd go ahead and send out somple simple/quick STDs, esp if it's for a DW I don't think it's too late. GL!!

I've read that sending STD's for a DW should happen anytime between 6-12 months before the wedding, most say 8-10 months before. Invitations don't go out until 2-3 months before. So there's absolutely still time, and if you want ppl there, then do your STD's now, and your invitations about 3 months out.
