Nails in Kihei

Aloha everyone,I have not posted much on this board but I have read tons of threads and never could have planned my wedding without all the great advice and information, so thank you!Now that the wedding is less than four weeks away, I am starting to plan the small things. Can anyone recommend a nail salon in Kihei where me and my girls can get a manicure and pedicure? I don't want to go to one of the resort spas--for a mani and pedi those prices are really crazy. Just a regular, nice, clean nail salon would be perfect.Any help would be great!

I'm sooo glad you posted this because I too need a nail place in Kihei, for mani/pedi's. Something cheap would be nice! I don't know what the going rates are in Maui but here in Portland, it's like 20-25$ for a pedi, so something comprable would be nice! Let me know if you find anything. I have done some researching on the internet, but I can't get rates or prices!

I don't have any recs for Kihei but you can try the "All Things Maui" bio: http://www.theknot.com/co_profileview.htm?profilename=allthingsmaui&MsdVisit=1#estates

I just did a search on Yelp.com for nail salon on Maui, HI then narrowed it to Kihei, and it looks like the best reviewed salon is Maui Nail Bar. Here's the search:http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=nail+salon&find_loc=maui%2C+HI&ns=1&rpp=10#places=HI%3AKihei%3A%3A

I've also heard that David's Happy Nails is good.

I treated my bridal party and MIL to a mani/pedi at Maui Nail Bar. They were clean, new, and had the leather massage chairs. They were very nice and everyone was happy with the results. The only thing I didn't like was the way my nail tech did the French tip. Took some effort and input from my bridesmaids to convince her that I wanted my French tips more natural. Otherwise, it was a very relaxing experience and we had the whole place to ourselves.

Looks like it's $43 for a basic mani/pedi at the Nail Bar.

Myself and my wedding party went there Maui Nail Bar (I think it is in the same shopping plaza as Denny's) and my nails turned out amazing. I got a french and for some reason I was really lucky and my natural nails were super long and turned out perfect except for one thubnail I broke. I remember they put a false nail tip on the broken one so they would all be even. A+
