Hi! I have actually posted a few questions on this particular board, and have recieved great feedback. I am getting married July 18, 2009 on Kauai's Poipu Beach. I am doing the planning from my home in Scottsdale, AZ so any advice specific to Kauai or feedback in general is greatly appreciated. I have been on The Knot for years and now that things are coming to fruition, I'm going to need help with some of the specifics and I'd LOVE to meet new friends... so advice, info, support; it is all welcomed:)

    Welcome to the board! I haven't been here that long, but all my questions have always been answered! These girls are great! I recently went to Kauai over spring break and snorkeled at Poipu beach! Its a pretty beach! Is your name Alexandria? If so, that's my name! I don't often find people with that name...=)

    Welcome to the board!  I LOVE Scottsdale!   I haven't been there in a long time.  We're getting married on Maui, then heading to Kauai and Oahu.  I'm not sure where we will be staying yet.  A good friend of mine is working on that now. I hope to have my hotels booked soon :).

    welcome! I am also getting married in Kauai on April 18th at Shipwreck beach.

    Welcome!!! I am from Arizona too, actually Cave Creek! I live in Portland now (almost 2 years), I probably won't have any help for you with anything to do with Kauai, but anything else just let me know!!!

    Hi and welcome!  FI and I love Kauai--gorgeous beaches, romantic, beautiful and peaceful island.  One of our favorite experiences in Kauai was a helicopter ride!  Poipu is great, there's a gorgeous Hyatt right there, if I remember correctly. Good luck planning--this board will be super helpful, I promise!  :)

    Congrats, I love Kauai! You will be able to get gorgeous sunset photos at Poipu Beach. Where will you be having your reception?

    Thank you all SO MUCH for the encouragement and friendly support. We are having our reception at the Sheraton's Ocean Lawn which is just steps away from the beach... beautiful:) I am looking forward to your help in the planning process and sharing in your special days as well!
