Hawaii

Another makeup question

for those of you who live in Hawaii what makeup do you use for everyday? I want something that's going to be able to handle the humidity and not sweat off as soon as I put it on. I don't really want to buy expensive stuff like Mac, sugggestions?TIA!

natalie- try colorstay oil free foundation by revlon. It's awesome. just make sure to 1) use a good moisturizer and primer, and 2) try on the color outside in natural light so it matches exactly. I like to use this one with a makeup sponge that's lightly damp or a foundation brush (which is a bit easier to use). HTH! :)

Because I walk to work, I have really toned down the amount of makeup I wear. All I use now is L'Oreal True Match concealer, and then I would use the True Match powder. But I accidently bought the super blendable compact makeup last time. I think I like it better. It evens out my skin really nicely. I usually don't need to use concealer after. And it lasts all day. No melting for me. :)

I used my bare escentuals stuff... but I'll be honest, nothing was going to stay on my face with all my sweating. I'm a sweaty, sweaty person.

I use Clinics Almost Makeup which is a liquid foundation with sunscreen.  If I am going out (anywhere other than work) then I'll put some loose powder over it.  I think you'll be ok since it isn't very humid here during the winter months.  It's been cooling down...See you when you get here!!
