Anybody familiar with Sheraton for ceremony and reception

Is anyone familiar with the Sheraton Maui and how ceremonies and receptions turn out there? Whether it be you are getting married there, got married there or attended a wedding there. It doesn't seem as popular a site as some of the other locations.

I am not getting married there, but we are staying there and doing our rehersal welcoem party there as well. I happen to think they are THE BEST people to work with. They have gone above and beyond for me and helped with things even my WC wouldnt do. For our welcome party, they have been so nice, gracious and attentive, I have loved it and I really feel like you dont get much of that when dealing with the wedding industry (at least in my experiance). Not sure about wedding days though, but all my dealings have been wonderful.

Thank you for your input, are you doing the rehersal at one of the restaurants at the Sheraton? We haven't booked the site yet and I am wondering if we should do the Olowalu Planatation house also, I love all the pictures that come frm there. What was your final deciding factor on choosing your location. Thx, Ronda

This probably isn't that helpful, but I am having my reception on the Ocean Lawn at the Sheraton Kauai. I'm assuming the systems pretty much run the same from location to location, but I have found my Sheraton people to be EXTREMELY helpful and responsive (ie I'm not even using them for the ceremony, my wedding is July 2010... and they still get back to me within a day for silly things like what the table measurements are). Good luck with your planning!!!! How exciting!
