Hi Ladies,So we are getting married this Sunday, having arrived in Oahu. And normally I know people post vendor reviews AFTER the wedding. But I think these vendors have done such a great job of keeping the pre-wedding stress down, they need to be mentioned.DOC - Dianna Shitanishi - AWESOME. You will not go wrong. A true professional, detail oriented and prompt. In a few hours, she will give you a response. Having her as my DOC has put my mind at ease. She deals with the rentals and all the minute details you might not think of...to make the day go smoother. I'm sure I am driving her crazy with all these last minute changes (we changed our ceremony site at Lani 2 because the heat wave is crazy...and moving it to the coconut grove), guest changes, flower changes etc. LOVE LOVE LOVE her. And this is before the wedding day.Lita's Lei Shop in Chinatown- Hands down the cheapest lei shop with a fresh selection (went to the airport lei shops and all the chinatown shops to compare prices).- She has bozu and crown flowers - which is different than the common kekui nut leis for the men- Nita - she is really nice and explains everything.Reimi - "1st Dance" - inquire at Manoa Dance Studio* For those who have time before the wedding - think about doing your dance lessons on Oahu. We just finished our first 2 hour lesson for our first dance - and she is AWESOME. She is cute, fun, full of energy and can teach a beat to those who are ... er ... beatless. We will have 4 more hours of private lessons with her in the next 2 days. She so AFFORDABLE (which is why we are taking lessons here rather than at home) - she will work with you at different studios (depending on where you are) for your dance lesson. And, she will shorten the music and choreograph the dance. And she is prompt and professional. How awesome is it that you have vendors that pull through and make you feel LESS stress before the wedding? These were great experiences this past few days that makes a world of difference.Hope this help my fellow knotties!
