I love Nicolas Sparks! All his books are great, I also am getting into Jodi Picoult. I have read My Sisters Keeper, which is really good!

The Help is really good. If you like detective fiction, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is good as well.

Leah, I LOVE all the books you just read :) I second The Host and The Other Boleyn Girl. Have you read any of Jennifer Weiner's books? Good in Bed and I can't remember the title of the other one...

Cloud Atlas is an interesting read and features a section set on the Big Island. I really like Garth Nix as a teen writer - his stuff isn't romancy like Twilight, but they're fantasy stories.

If you like Chick Lit I would recommend Milkrun and Fishbowl both by Sarah Mlynowski.  Also, Bitter is the New Black by Jen Lancaster is really funny.  And you can never go wrong with Bridget Jones' Diary- hilarious!

Hi Leah, I loved the twilight series so a gf recommended The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and her second Catching fire. It was so good i couldnt put them down. It only took me a week to read them both. Her other book The victors comes out next year......just like the twilight movie New moon I just can wait.
