Big Island help?

I'm helping plan a wedding on the Big Island and I was wondering if anyone had any first-hand experiences with any of the companies offering packages for a beach wedding. I've done some initial browsing on the web, but it's so hard to tell which ones are reputable. Thanks in advance!

I was married on the Big Island in April.  Don't quote me, but I think Sophia & I were the most recent Big Island brides.  We were both had our reception at the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort in Kailua Kona (Sophia had her ceremony there too).  The hotel catered my reception, but I brought in my own cake.  The hotel doesn't have an official "wedding coordinator" but Shelby & Rudy were the both very nice & helpful. They were pretty budget friendly You can def get some good deals.

They were definitely budget friendly...I think the actual rental for the lawn was $500 & then for the catering there were a few options but we went with the $40/person option (most expensive) & plus alcohol.  I don't remember exactly what the total was, I just remember at the end being happy with how much we paid.I definitely recommend staying at the Outrigger b/c it is in a great location, but even better than have a really nice FREE breakfast every morning.  It was a great way for us & our guests to save a little $$ and it was a perfect meeting spot for everyone.
