Flowers in Oahu

Hi girls! Hope the wedding planning isn't driving you completely insane. 

Do any of you know if it is pretty affordable to buy Hydrangeas in Oahu? I wanted to use those type of flowers for my centerpieces, I'm going to put them into a square vase. 

Is it better to use Hawaiian flowers? What types of flowers are most affordable during the Summer?

Sorry I don't know about the exact pricing for hydrangeas. My planner did mention hydrangeas are at a premium price because they don't grow them in Hawaii. Good luck though.

For flowers it was hard for me to choose flowers because I wasn't sure what would work in the budget so I went the other way and found a florist and then worked to select something in my price range.

But if you're diy lots of knotties have purchased from watanabe florists - i've seen a lot of cymbidium and denrobium orchids. Hopefully they can post their experiences.

If you do a search on the bottom of the page, some girls have had discussions on pricing before.

Thank you! I'm open to anything affordable. lol. I have no idea what to do for centerpieces. I want something modern and chic. Orchids are beautiful but I don't know if I want to incorporate them in my centerpieces.

Who knows if the price is right...I just might do it.

Can you tell me who you went with? I don't want to spend a lot on flowers....

Sounds beautiful. I really want hydrangeas with leaves wrapped in the base of a square vase. I think we might end up going to Costco and then doing the centerpieces ourselves.
