Anyone had a wedding on the Great Lawn at the Hilton Hawaiian Village?

Hi again folks!
Has anyone considered or had a wedding on the Great Lawn at the Hilton Hawaiian Village?

I saw a nice picture in a Hawaii wedding magazine (http://www.hawaiimagazine.com/images/content/Waikiki_benefit_concert_Haiti/HiltonLawnFireworksSMALL.jpg) and was intrigued.

Please let me know if you have heard anything about having a wedding ceremony and reception here.

    I'm not doing the great lawn but doing the beach at HHV and their Wedding Coordinator company - Best Bridal - has been fabulous to work with.

    How big was your party? 

    Since my party will be 200 guests, I will have to go with the Great Lawn, because beach weddings are limited in size...

    However, I called and spoke with someone at the Hilton, and they were quoting me $1800 for the site rental, and then a minimum of $85/person for food!!!

    Yikes.  Over my budget... But it was a nice thought, especially since they have Friday night fireworks in the summertime...  Ah well...

    I decided to have my wedding at Lanikuhonua, so I'm excited!
