We are debating on having our welcome dinner at the Old Lahaina Luau or on a sunset cruise of some sort. Anyone have any suggestions or opinions on which would be better? If you have recommendations for sunset cruises pleae let me know. Or any other suggests would be great too.
Re: Luau or sunset cruise for Welcome Dinner - Maui
We opted to not go on a sunset dinner cruise while we were in Maui. We really enjoyed the Old Lahaina Laua, it really is a nice experience. FWIW, it is right on the water and you get to see a beautiful sunset
Depending on how many people are on the dinner cruise it may be more personal than the Laua, which has ALOT of people. I do not know how they handle large groups. But the seasick thing would be a really important factor.
We had the same dilemma...but when I went to book the sunset dinner cruise, they would not guarantee that we would be seated together =( This was on Oahu and I don't know if Maui would be any different. This was the deciding factor for us as we wanted to sit with our loved ones
