The FI and I went together to Gilt, a vintage jewelry store, to look for my engagement ring a couple months back. We found one we both loved that day and he called later that day and had it all taken care of. Saturday I went in and was sized for it. It was so exciting. They had it out for him to see, but I made sure not to look at it. Since they wouldn't let us take a picture of the ring when we were looking at them, I've pretty much forgotten what it looks like since I only saw it that one time. I thought that way I would be surprised and able to fall in love with it all over, again. Of course, now he's going to have it in his hands at the end of this week. It's going to drive me crazy until he gives it to me. heh heh
