Ideas for rehearsal day before wedding near Honua Kai?

So Dukes seems to be jerking us around.  We had originally booked 18 guests for rehearsal...which means we have no choice but to go off of their set menu...which was $38 plus an automatic tip...ugh.  We felt this was our only choice so no one had to use transportation to and from (everyone is staying in Honua Kai).
Well, Dukes just raised the prices to $42.  Based on principal, this really erks me.  Feel like booking else where based on spite lol.

Any ideas:)

  • We had all of our guests at the Honua Kai also and tried to do a welcome thing at Duke's but they wouldn't do it. I actually had my welcome cocktail hour (2hrs with 2 drinks/person and appetizers) at David Paul's Island Grill in their Sky Lounge and it was perfect. Everyone loved the venue and the food. Everyone one at David Pauls was super helpful and they let me book the venue without fitting the food/beverage minimum and we had 25 people total.

    Hope this helps!
