I responded to your post on the "Any Last Minute..." thread, but not sure if you got it.

Here are two parks I spotted that have grassy areas...

The one before the Ka'anapali area is called: Hanakao'o park

The ones in Kihei along South Kihei Road have huge grassy areas, some shaded by trees. Kamaole Beach Park II and III looked really nice and spacious. Kamaole Beach Park III has larger grassy areas than II. Do a Google image search and you'll see...
