cheesy slideshow

I'm debating whether or not we should have a slideshow to entertain our guests.  I'm not sure how I feel about it.  When I go to weddings, sometimes I find them entertaining, but sometimes too they seem cheesy.  Thoughts on this?

    I love cheesy slide shows. As a wedding guest, I find them entertaining. Since our venues are outdoors we can't have them, so instead we're printing out a small number of photos to decorate with.

    I like them when I know the couple well.  I've been to a few weddings where I didn't know them, or one person well, and wasn't too interested in the slideshows then cos I wasn't aware of all the inside jokes and nuances.  With close friends and family though, I found them fun.  If you want one, go for it!

    we're planning to have one, but will also include at least one picture with each of our guests so that they will be part of it too.
