Now I  am freaking out a little. lol. 21 days to go until we get married. I am going to do my own hair and make up and that makes me completely nervous. Not only that, the bakery making our cake just sold so another baker will take over. I cannot order contacts because my prescription ran out and I refust to pay 300 for an exam plus the cost of contacts. I am pretty much going down there with just the ones in my eyes. Hopefully nothing will happen to them. ahhahah just venting right now. Thanks you guys for listening. lol

Want to do a test run of your hair and makeup and post pictures? I'm sure us knotties can give ideas and maybe it'll ease your mind. I'm sure the cupcakes will turn out fine, but sad to hear that you have to deal with this? As for contacts, I just did the same exact thing! I didn't realize I was running out and now need an eye exam and new contacts uggh! Now I need to factor in getting new ones! If you have a costco I think the exam is much less than 300 and you can buy the boxes 1 at a time.

Try Costco if you can. My Mom goes there for hers because she has an FSA account and its cheaper.  Would love to see a trial of your hair also. Hang in there.

I know it sounds hard to do, but try to relax and take even the glitches in stride.  These next 3 weeks can be some of the most magical of your life, but you have to let it happen.  Many more things will go wrong, or at least unexpectedly, but you just have to breathe and laugh and grin through it.  We're always here for you to vent away...I really hope everything turns out just fine!

ask your eye doctor for a one month extension on your contact lenses and take care of it when you get back

Thanks you guys. Trying to hang in there. lol. When I get time from work i will play with my hair and post some pics. As far as the contacts, I have also ordered through 1800contacts because they don't require  a prescription. I have used them for the last three years. This time they wouldn't process without a doctor confirmation. I do not have a costco here, nor do I have insurance. I just got promoted to full time and I'm in my 90 day waiting period before my benefits kick in.

I was going to mention one of the online stores for glasses/contacts...is there such a thing as clearly contacts??? If you are not able to get an extension i would ask to speak to a manager at 1800contacts and explain the situation.  I'm sure someone will come through for you. Yes, great idea to post pics of your hair...the ladies offer great advice. Hang in there! J. :-)
