TGIF!

I'm so glad it's Friday again.  I have a TON of errands to do this afternoon so I'm hoping to jet from work a bit early today :D  Need to write holiday cards and stock the fridge and clean -- OMG how does the house get so messy in just 1 week?  I seriously need a MAID :D

How is everyone else?

We just hired a cleaning service and they start on Monday. I found them through Angieslist.com (that's also where we found our locksmith and painters). They were very highly rated and will do the entire house, top to bottom, including vacuuming the furniture for $80 every two weeks. Well worth it to me.

Brea~ I love breakfast for dinner!!! I'm off on Fridays and I was gonna go to the gym but I thought I'd surprise FI when he comes back today (he's been away for two weeks) with putting up our Christmas decorations. It took me awhile but I got mostly everything out and FI was surprised when he got home. Tomorrow I'm going to a benefit for an older man who has cancer. I donated a wine basket which will be auctioned off along with other baskets. I'm gonna buy many chances because all the money is going back to this man, hopefully I win!! Have a great weekend everyone!!!

I'm good here! Sherlock is such a good boy. I hate being away from him during the day for work :(

I have tomorrow off (WHAT?!) and then I work a long day on Sunday for the Redskins. Tomorrow I plan on getting my new license (new name!) and running a few errands. Then I have a GTG with a few local girls from the DW board that are also old marrieds. I'm looking forward to it.

Tonight one of my best friends is coming over to celebrate my birthday. I'm making dinner, which sounds backwards, but I'm pretty excited about it. I'm doing breakfast for dinner and I'm going to make eggs and bacon and pancakes with macadamia nuts, banana slices and coconut syrup :) It'll be like we're back on Hawaii!

I also can't wait for Rachel to meet Sherlock! She has a grey kitty that looks just like Sherlock named Linus. I'm sure she'll love the little guy!

Seriously  TGIF ladies!! I can't believe how busy the last 2 weeks have been at work...I am so exhausted and really need a break!

FI and I  were supposed to go to a friend's holiday/housewarming party tonight but it just got cancelled since our friend's GF is sick which actually works out well since FI has a work emergency and will be working late tonight. I am planning on relaxing with a glass of wine and either a good book or a movie...not sure which.

Tomorrow I have a long list of errands to run, plus we need to clean the apartment (Tanq- so hear you on the MAID), finish holiday cards, finalize wedding invitation details so they can go to the printer next week, work on the wedding website which keeps getting put on the back burner since we have both been super busy at work and have been working weekends here and there and then I need to just go through my master list of wedding stuff and figure out where we are with everything since I haven't gotten much done.

Sunday, I think we are going to go to brunch and relax a bit. I also have to figure out christmas presents for our parents and friends in the wedding party.

Happy Weekend Ladies!! Hope everyone's is relaxing, fun and productive!!

    Everyone is soooo busy.
Brea, breakfast any time is good for me. Sounds delicious.
I have been slammed with work and normally work from home on Fridays but went in for awhile today to check on some employees.
After a lunch with my Daughter and her MOH we went for haircuts and her hair trial.  A good family friend who has been cutting her hair since she was 4 is doing her hair for the wedding so it was a good time with a great friend.  Nice to have that item checked off her list.  Aterward we went straight to the mall for makeup advice and found some great deals.
All three of us have appts. next week to have make up done with Clinque. My Daughter did have a trial of her eyes done at Sephora but to be honest none of us liked the way they turned out, and they were the only ones who required her to spend a certain amount.  We are planning on purchasing at least $50 for each BM and right now Clinque and Bare Essentials is winning due to their customer service.
FH and I still have not made a final decision on our wedding date.  We have decided that we really need to wait until after the holidays.  One idea that we are considering is making a scouting trip in May and moving the wedding to the holidays next year, but right now we are so busy and don't want to make a decision based on emotion and stress.
FH is working OT today but promised we will go to the christmas tree farm when he gets off.  We bought  a 10 footer there last year and the girls had to put the angel on from the upstairs banister.
Hope everyone has a great relaxing weekend.

How did I miss this? I was go TGIFing, yesterday! We had breakfast for dinner last night, too. Went out to breakfast this morning with friends and hit Crafty Wonderland afterwards. Even though we are all done with our Christmas shopping, we still wanted to see what they had this year. Picked up a couple velvet paintings for our tiki bar. Been working on the house this afternoon and evening. Will do the same tomorrow before we go to a holiday party tomorrow afternoon and a meeting for the MCM League. Drew's going to put up our Christmas lights on the house tomorrow, too. Hope you all are having great weekends! It sounds like you've all got a lot going on. It's that time of year, isn't it?
