I'm inspired...let's share our fur baby pics...

Our golden lab...Drew...just turned 4 this month.  Smile

One of my fave puppy pics...

His bully face...

Love this one as he is sitting like a person would on the stairs with my FI...

Drew and his fave toy...he's gone through a few of these...i now cut off the tentacles as he would chew them off and then throw them up later...

His pretty boy look...he's almost two in this pic...

We don't have a dog.  We're never home and couldn't walk it/care for it enough or properly, but we do have a little grumpy ball of spikes called Winston.  He's almost 3 years old.  I guess his underside is furry!!

WINSTON!  I'd love to meet him.  He looks so cute and cuddly.  How spikey are the spikes?

When he's happy, they're flat, and he's just coarse.  When he's angry or scared they stick up and they're like getting pricked with a needle.  Only hurts if he get's you good. He's not so cuddly though.  We have a family dog who lives with Mom and Dad (cairn terrier), and he's my cuddle company

Winston is the coolest pet EVER!!

I have good pictures of my cats (who live with my parents since our apartment doesn't allow pets) and Turbo (who we break the rules with because she's easy to let slide by ;)) at work and I'll post them later :)

ETA: I also love Tanqueray... he's so funny! I love the last couple of pictures the most :) Nice to know where your name comes from :D Drew is adorable too <3 Just want to squeeze him!

wow I am a bad mom…I didn't even share their names.

Audrey is the blonde Pekingese and Emma is the Cavalier King Charles. Both are spoiled rotten. And I have vowed to come back in another life as my dogs.

LOL, all of your pets are sooooo cute and funny!!  LOVE all the pics  :)

Unfortunately, we don't have pets right now, but you have all given me some good inspiration!!  :)  Admittedly, I'm more of a dog person than cat person....grew up with seven (yes, SEVEN) doberman rottweiler mix dogs when we lived in the tropics!  Nowadays, I just live vicariously through my sister, who's a vet and owns her own practice.  At least if/when we do get fur babies, he/she will have dibs on free shots and vetcare!  LOL  :)

Turbo is pretty awesome looking so is Winston.

MOH is holding Maus, just after we picked her up from the breeder.

BTW do any of you ladies have pet insurance?  If you do who are you with and do you recommend them?  Are the premiums expensive for you?  I got quotes from VPI, Pets Best and the AKC Pet Health plan.

We don't have pet insurance.  We just pay like crazy whenever anything happens to Tanq.  I freak out about his wellness so much more than I would about a child...it's pretty sad.  :P

I *love* Maus.  She thinks she's such a lapdog it's hilarious.  Not even lap.  Like chest dog.  Hehe.  Too adorable.

Moto...Maus is sooo adorable...thanks for sharing more pics and inspiring this post. She reminds me a lot of "big head"...our Drew Drew...just one of the his many many names...lol.

We do have pet insurance...i think i pay around $40/m with Pet Care. It has come in handy.  Needed to use it 3 times in less than 4 years...thank goodness for procrastination as i was about to cancel it and he ended up needing surgery that cost almost $3000 as he decided to eat a sweade working glove with flannel in the inside and could not pass all of it so he needed emergency surgery to remove it...from the time i brought him to emerg to the time i received the check with absolutely no hassles was like 3 weeks...so i am mos def keeping it as one never knows. Labs are kinda crazy...another one of his names...and will eat just about anything so it also depends on your breed but for it it worked for us...i think i purchased it when he was between 6 to 8 months. If the breeder has not done it already do get her micro chipped.  HTH! J. :-)

This post makes me wish we did have a dog.  I miss Dundee (family dog), but like I said, we're not home enough to have a dog.  I'll see if I can find a pitcure of him at home and post it too.

Maui, Winston is a hedgehog.  I've wanted one since I was a kid, so finally got one.

Motolyn, we don't have pet insurance as Winston won't live as long as a dog, and there's not much you can do if he gets sick.  Appt.s and meds aren't too much, and though hedgies are prone to cancer and can get legs amputated as a cure, I couldn't see him costing what something like a dog or cat would.

Ok...I have to partake in this one...

Here is Bruin when I first got him at 5 weeks old 6 lbs.

This is my handsome Bruin now at 3 1/2 years old and 110 lbs.

    And this is Bella...she's 2 1/2 and thinks she's a little princess...SERIOUSLY!

Motolyn...I have pet insurance on Bruin through VPI. His premiums come out of my paycheck every two weeks and it's about $45 a month. When Bruin was 5 months old, he had a stroke and had to have extensive physical therapy (was put in a hyberbaric chamber) and had to learn how to walk all over again. He was in the hospital for 2 weeks! You better believe that it cost me a pretty penny (that I'm still paying for) but with his insurance, I was able to recoup about 1/3 of his bill. I know it's not much but when you are talking a couple thousand dollars back, it helps out. I highly recommend them! Their office is located in Brea and so reimbursement on claims comes pretty quickly. Also, if you need a rec on a EXCELLENT vet, let me know.
