Disney resort

Hi!!! I just got engaged last month and i have been looking at a few places to have it at, and the hawaii disney resort really caught my eye.  If anyone has ANY info about the resort please let me know :) I'm currently overseas in the military trying to plan a stateside wedding so i will take all the help/info I can get!! thanks oh yea and the wedding is not till June 15th 2013. Thanks!!

    The resort just opened 2 months ago, I'm not sure if anyone will have any information on here.  Your best bet is to give the resort a call.  Congrats, and great choice - it's a beautiful place!!

    I know someone getting married at Aulani next month, but I agree that you should call the resort about weddings since it's so new. Good luck and congrats!

    We just came from there...it is a gorgeous property! We had our wedding brunch there and we had an amazing time. I have a few pictures if you want to send me your email. I can send them to you :)

    a friend of mine is getting married there next july. they weren't too happy with the coordinator that came with the venue. and i believe there is a provision where a certain amount of revenue is required with room booking as well.

    I am currently working with Kelly from Aulani. She is terrific. I feel like she is more attentive to our needs than the other coordinator. The other coordinator seemed to not comprehend our concerns. The emails regarding info were never consistant. I complained and then was referred to Kelly. Keep in mind the dates go fast. Our wedding date is in June 2012. We contacted Aulani the beginning of May 2011. The other coordinator (Candice) said we could not book yet it had to be 12 months in advance to the day. So when we called back the week of June we would like to get married in a year from now, we were told that our day was taken. I was so pissed because the coordinator told me the couple booked Aulani the end of May 2011. I was so confused. Why would she give someone that day when I called for it first? and why were they allowed to book more than 12 months? So if you get someone named Candice good luck..


     Luckily, the other couple changed their minds about their date and we got the date we wanted.
