Would love to hear your Oahu DJ recommendations!

Hello ladies

I'm looking to book the DJ for my 4/25 wedding at Lanikuhonua.
Can any of you recommend a fantastic DJ in Oahu?
Also, I have NO idea what kind of price range is suitable for a DJ?? Help!

Any thoughts, tips or suggestions would be really appreciated!!

CHEERS!

We hired Tony So (TheDJ Hawaii)  He's kinda pricey but well worth the money.  We've been to a few weddings he's done and people were actually dancing :)

We also looked at Jason Akiona (Exquisite Entertainment) :)

I didn't realize how expensive DJs really are.  I'm sure the other girls will be able to recommend other DJs...there used to be a DJ on here that was recommended a lot by the other girls but I can't remember his name for the life of me...if i think of it i'll be back :)

there's troy michael (who's also pricey), and ryan from hi-def (don't know his prices). we had carlos feliciano... price was good, but while he was a good DJ (everyone was dancing for a good 2 hours), his emcee skills were... not the greatest.

    HTH!

We had "Spike on the Mic" from local radio station FM100. He did double duty as DJ & emcee and he made our wedding so much fun. He also helped us tremendously on our timeline, suggested ideas for games and overall he is very professional. Considering he did the job of 2 vendors + he is a radio personality, cost wise, he was very reasonable.

If you want to hear what he sounds like he's on the radio every weeknight from 12am to 5am: http://kccnfm100.com/inside/shows.html

His company is called C & S Sound Production i dont think he really does any advertising so I haven't seen much online about the company. His contact info is: Ronnie.Barba@coxradio.com
