Finally the planning is under way! WC hired!! Woo hoo!
Can anyone recommend a photog in Oahu? I'm pretty picky with photography and there are soooo many to look at when I google search!
I know that there are a lot of Shawn Starr fans out there, I love his work too, but the vintage look isn't really something I want for my wedding photos. We're going to be in HAWAII and my wedding colours are bright...So I want all the vibrant colours captured!

    Congrats!!! Unfortunately I don't have any Oahu photog suggestions, but I'm sure you'll find someone amazing! 

    I do have an Oahu-based videographer suggestion, though! PM me for info if you'd like it...

    She's not based in Oahu, but her travel fees are not outrageous. We're going with Rebecca Arthurs. :)

    If your on a budget, John Hook Photograpghy is the man! $250 an hour i think he quotes. Great work!

    Not sure if you found one yet, but I am using Chrissy Lambert.  My sister also used her for her wedding about 10 years ago and she has only gotten better with time!  My friend (who's wedding I was in) used Christi Pham and she did amazing work!  I would check both of them out if you are still looking.
    Also, Frank Amodo does some cool more urban looks.  He wasn't as soft as I might have wanted, but some people really like his look so he might be worth a look at too.

    A family member used Visionari a few years back for her Hawaii wedding - great photos!  We're using Dulce - run by the same group but a different set of photogs at a slightly lower price point, but same style and great photos!
