We recently held our cocktail wedding reception at Timba and loved every minute of it. I don't see many brides talking about Timba on here so I wanted to get the name out there. First of all; yes it is a nightclub and you will have to buy it out if you want a private party. However, we did this on a Sunday night so the buyout was very affordable.
The views!! The sunset and ocean views from their second floor patio are incredible. The layout inside the club lends itself very well for a cocktail reception but would be less suitable for a sit down dinner. Even though it is a nightclub the interior is really nice and there is lots of seating on the comfy white leather couches. The bathrooms were spotless.
The staff were really attentive and made sure everyone was having a great time.
One of the biggest question marks for us in our budget was how much we would have to spend on alcohol for our guests. At Timba we were able to buy drink packages for our guests which was awesome. Our guests were able to drink as much as they wanted all night long and we knew well in advance what our bar tab was going to be.
Bottom line: if you want to do something a little bit different but still have a classy, beautiful reception then Timba will deliver. Highly highly recommend!!
