NEED SUGGESTIONS! Had to cancel venue 90 days from wedding date..

After much consideration my fiancée and I have decided to cancel our hotel venue for our wedding to save approximately $10K. However, we only have 89 days until our wedding this May 2012. We need to find a venue, preferably a restaurant, which offers a nice dinner and a dance floor with a live band so we can dance after dinner. What we are looking for is a venue in Waikiki that is similar to The Penrose Room at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. 

I have conducted extensive research online but still have not found a venue that simply has quality food and dancing. I have found countless five star restaurants and casual bars that offer dancing, but not a hybrid of the two.

Does anyone have suggestions as to where we can have our reception for approximately 25 guests that that offers dinner and dancing in Waikiki, HI?

    Hi Michelle,

    Check out Indigo. It's actually downtown Honolulu. My fiance and I went there (upon recommendation from our WC) on our scouting trip. It's a fusion restaurant in a really awesome building. They have private dining areas and also part of the place turns in to a jazz lounge in the evening with dancing...I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for, but it's worth a look! The food is AMAZING!

    Thank you Mai. I looked into Indigo and it is a nice place. We are trying to stay as close to the beach as possible so we do not have to worry about transportation. Our reception was originally scheduled at the Sheraton Waikiki so that is where everyone is staying during their vacation. Therefore, we are trying to find a place that offers dinner and dancing, but all I am finding is either nice restaurants that offer very little entertainment (one musician playing a guitar) or a crazy spring break type of bar that offers bar food. Our ceremony is at 4:00 pm so most luaus and dinner cruises are out of the question. They end too early in the evening anyway.
