My new furbaby <3 (come in and share yours)

It's been a while since we've done this.

Tuesday was our 3 year dating anniversary, and one day before my birthday, and we brought home the sweetest little rescue kitty in the world!

Meet Sherlock! Sherlock is 9 months old and was found in a dumpster and taken to the humane society with his brother Watson. Watson should be going home to his forever family soon too!

Our first family photo at the humane society before going home with Sherlock.

Sherlock is such a sweet kitty. He loves cuddling and head butting (nuzzling) he also loves to eat! He pretty much only takes breaks from cuddling to eat. I just love him so much! Being away from him at work this week has been really hard <3

When we got home last night we laid down on the couch and I was cuddling Steve and laid down in his "nook." Sherlock came up on the couch with us and cuddled Steve on the other side and laid in his nook on his back with his little paws up in the air having me pet his belly. We love our cat!

Awww what a cute kitty!  I like nuzzles from kittes but I'm allergic to cats.  So I watch from a far and pet briefly.  Fi and I only have one furbaby for now.  She's a handful as it is.  Though plan to adopt another puppy when Maus is 2 or 3.  She's only 7 months old right now.  Maus is a Weiamraner.  I am interested in seeing pics of Tang's furbaby, he's a cutie as well.

Congrats on Sherlock!!  How awesome.  What you described sounds a bit like Sherlock might be confused if he's a dog or cat.  I didn't realize cats liked belly rubs.  More photos, PLEASE!

Maus.  SWOON.  Doesn't matter how many times I see photos of her.  I love, love, love her.  So much.  Those eyes.  I seriously could not resist giving her treats.

Over Thanksgiving we took a short trip to wine country with Tanq and his best friend.  These 2 are ridiculously cute together:

Um, these are toys, not slippers.  You MUST  be mistaken:

Heather, They are both so beautiful! I LOVE the photo you have of Lola, it looks like it could be in an advertisement!

Clara, I love all of your pictures of Tanq. He's such an awesome little guy!

Sherlock is a really, really affectionate cat. It's so impressive! He loves cuddle time and you can rub him anywhere!

Ohhh Raider is quite the big kitty.  Love it.  As always Tanq is adorable.  I like the attacking slippers pic.

RAIDER!  Ok, I know the angle is unflattering and all, but that still looks like a sizeable kitty!  LOL.  Lola, however, is svelt and quite the seductress.

Found out earlier this week that Mr. Tanq has been jumping onto the dining table to search for food.  He hops onto a chair, and then onto the table.  I have no idea how long he's been doing it, but on Sunday he ate an entire roll of wheat crackers (Milton's!) and yesterday I found paw prints on my chairs and claw streaks on the tabletop.  I actually think he fell off.  Surprised  Not sure if I should be proud, amused, mad, or scared.  Kind of a mix of all of the above.

Now I just have to remember to push all the chairs in!

Been there.... Maus got up on the kitchen table and ate a whole bowl of suagr that someone left out after having morning coffee.  30 pound dog on a wooden kitchen table.  Pushing in chairs won't help she can pull them out herself.  I was amused when I first heard it then horror hit when I realized how much trouble she can get into.

Love seeing everyone's animals.  I'll have to post some pictures of mine later.

We have a Chihuahua named ChiChi who's just a little over a year old.  I love that stinkin' little dog so much.  She literally leaps into my arms when I come home and if she thinks FI is doing anything to me (even though he never is) she goes over to him and starts barking at him and pulling on his pant legs.  It's so funny.

We also have our two cats, Cupcake and Radish.  Cupcake is a huge baby. And by huge, I mean 25 lbs. But, he's the biggest pansy.  Radish is our little girl calico. She's try sweet when she wants to be. But, sometimes she just wants you to leave her alone.

All of the animals get alone. Except, Radish tells let ChiChi and Cupcake both know when she's not in the mood for any of their play.  She really keeps them in line!

Whenever we take ChiChi for walks, Radish comes with us.  She follows right along. The whole way.  It cracks us up.  Last night, Cupcake came, too.  He's never gone on a walk with us before since he's so lazy and a big scaredy.  We were pretty proud of him. hehe He was so tired by the end of the walk though.

That is a skewed angle of Raider but he is pretty beasty! His head is big & he has a broad build plus his big belly, hes like 16 lbs i think. Lola has a belly too, shes probably 12 lbs! Theyre on iams diet food but are indoor only cats so they dont exercise much. Raider is 8 and lola is 5. Weve had them since they were tiny kittens. Raider is the favored spoiled one & lola was bought to be his companion while we're at work. We love catching them cuddeling together since usually they fight for our attention/lap. Ok, here's what I had on my phone.  Most of my pictures of Radish are blurry.  She clearly doesn't like her picture taken.

    ChiChi and Cupcake

Radish getting lots of love from FI.

Cupcake loves any box! Especially ones that smell like food.

ChiChi loves to go swimming with us.

ChiChi gets sad when I put the hoods up on her sweaters.

This isn't a great picture, but it's a once in a lifetime experience.  ChiChi was sitting on my lap and then Radish got on it.  You can see, even ChiChi doesn't know what to think.

    Cupcake is our little baby!

Omg chi chi is so cute!! I love her outfit! I cant wait to get a pup. Lola Loves boxes too, shes always inside costco boxes & packages from the mail!

OMG.  I love your clan, Kimmy.  But chichi with her hood steals my heart.

And Raider's 'modesty'.  Maybe Raider is related to Tanq:

    Here's my little furbaby Annie!!

We rescued her from a shelter about 7 months ago.  She's some sort of poodle mix mutt but she's amazing and so much fun!!

I seriously don't think I ever need a child with her around.  She's awesome!

All of them are very cute.
@Kimmy, Cupcake could be the orange twin of our Rogue.  Very furry.
@Sparkle, We also have a Lola but she is a bunny.

Lola, our Holland Lop. FI went to Cabellas to buy me a fishing pole the month before we moved in together and he came back with her.  She was just 6 weeks old and soooooo tiny.  Nice thing is she won't go on the hardwood so I just put a runner out for her morning stretch, ok on the weekends its an all day stretch, but keeps her happy.  By the way. I still don't have the fishing pole a year and half later. lol

Rogue, she is almost 13 and only weighs 4lbs. She has no claws but thinks she does and will swat at anything or anyone that bugs her.  Full of attitude.  She is leaving with my daughter in May.  Not sure how the other pets will handle it.

Jasper, the baby. He is such a boy.  He also likes to get up on the dinning table.  The thing is we hardly use this table. It sits next to a big window so I think its more about looking outside than looking for food.

Love seeing pics of people's pets!

Another Lola here. She is a shih tzu mix that I rescued from the pound when she was about a year and a half. And Enzo who is a shiba inu (like the puppy cam dogs). We like to call them LoZo. They are about 8 and 9 years old.

Here are pics of Sam, our very large furbaby, who is 22 inches long and 17 lbs. He is the sweetest boy ever...very affectionate and loves to play fetch with his toy springs and have his belly rubbed. He is Mr Social Butterfly when we have guests over as he makes his way around the apartment greeting everyone and making them feel at home.
