Flying into Maui

Can you fly directly to Maui or do you have to go to Honolulu first? What airlines go directly to Maui?  TIA!

I have flown both Delta and American straight to Maui. I will be flying Alaska Air straight to Maui in April.

Sometimes it depends what day of the week you want to fly in too. Air Canada, for example, offers 1-2 flights directly from Vancouver to Maui a week, depending on the season.

Ditto the above.  Alaska flies SJC-Maui nonstop on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays I think.  Hawaiian also offered nonstops to Maui when we were arranging travel last year.  Not sure what their 2012 schedules look like.

We flew United and my parents flew American and both went straight to Kahului airport on Maui. On the way back we had a stopover in Kona on the Big Island.

I like to fly Alaska for the reason that they fly directly to Maui from Oakland, but I think that Hawaiian will soon be flying directly to Maui...(?). I like that they still serve a meal on Hawaiian! 

But so far, Alaska for me since I don't like to stop over...

It depends on the airline and where you are flying out of.
