Florist - Oahu

Who are you all using for your florist for those that are getting married in Oahu.  We have some meetings set up when I go out there in early Nov - one with Todd at Always Flowers and one with Easley Designs.  Do you think two is enough to meet with?  What should I look for?  How do you make a decision?

Thanks

I'm chancing it! I'm not going to Hawaii until my wedding so I have to go by my coordinators recommendations, which is a little scary, but I'm sure whomever it is will be awesome! I would go by seeing how flexible they are with what you exactly want and price! Good luck!!!

I don't even know who my coordinator used but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my bouquet. I'm sad that it wouldn't last forever :)

I suggest my florist! She does weddings on all the Hawaiian islands, California, and Nevada! Her prices are great and she does a thorough job with her consultation. Michelle at Pacific Blue Floral! :) Even though everything was over the phone and via email, she answered all my questions and showed my examples both on her website and FB page... Hope that helps! :)

I actually met with both florists that you are going to meet with.  I fell in love with EasleyDesigns at one of the bridal expos I went to, and set up a consultation from there.  Met with her, still loved her, but after much urging from our families, decided to meet with another florist, "just to see what was out there."  I heard about Todd from friends who used them for their weddings and found some reviews from some past knotties, so I figured why not.  After my FI met and I met with Todd, we were sold and booked him right away.  Talking with Todd was like talking with an old friend.  As I shared my ideas with him, I felt like he was 100% on the same page with me.  I think that's what sealed the deal for me.  I just felt that he understood my vision and could make it happen.  Both florists are around the same price range (at least based on the quotes they have me), but EasleyDesigns wanted us to order the family, special guests, and bridal party lei separately from a local lei shop, and we weren't too keen on that.  We were also able to see the quality of Todd's flowers and floral designs in person, so that's what helped a lot in terms of making our decisions.

That turned out way longer than I meant it to be! LOL.  Anyhow, that's how I chose between the two.  Both are great though, so you're in for two great consultations. :)
