Ooh, yeah! Those are GREAT recipes! Notice in the picture how they aren't all day-glo and have great fresh garnishes? They all look damn tasty! Is it Friday, yet?????

They're doing Tiki week on Serious Eats and have some yummy looking recipes too!!

I actually laughed when I read about margaritas being tiki drinks. Tequila is rarely found in tiki drinks.  I think there is actually only 1 or 2 that have it.  Plus, it's associated with Mexico, not Polynesia.

I just checked out the foods.  Crab Rangoon would very much be a tiki eats! It was invinted by the same person who invented the Mai Tai- Trader Vic! Both while in Oakland, CA.
