What is the Box, Wine, Love letter ceremony?

    Sure! I got the idea from a Chicago knottie (that's where I currently live). Basically, the two of you write love letters to each other describing all the reasons you fell in love and chose to marry each other and then seal them in envelopes. During the ceremony, you have a box that has a bottle of wine inside and you place your letters inside as well. You then "seal" or close the box. If you ever find your marriage in hardship, you are to open the box, drink the wine and separately read the letters you wrote to each other. However, the hope is that you will never have to open that box, in which case you open it on your 20th anniversary and celebrate :) *We had it worded a lot better in our actual ceremony.     I think I read something about that on the boards somewhere. Its definitely something I hope to incorporate into my ceremony, very sweet!
