So....FI and I will be getting our marriage license this Thursday when we get home. The question is - what documentation do you need to have with you to get your marriage license. The ever-helpful state website says that if you are under 19 you need an original or certified copy of your birth cert - clearly this doesn't apply to us. Then it says for those over 18 proof of age may be requested in the form of an ID or drivers license. As I read it this means we only need our license or passport, but I'm not taking any chances.
In the one and only wedding nightmare I've had, we didn't have the right forms of ID/documentation and couldn't get our marriage license, thus my paranoia.
