Bubbles on recessional...

Ok smart ladies...I need some help.  There are a few elements I'm obsessed with...one is tons of bubbles on exit, like this:

My question is...when do you actually do it?  During the recessional?  Or, do you somehow ask people to gather & you walk through it later?  We'll be at Sugarman so everything is in the same spot, and there's no real 'exit' like in the photo above.  Maybe have the officiant cue people to get their bubbles ready before he introduces us back down the aisle?

Maybe include directions on the program? Or on a paper attached to the bubble bottles? Or have parents/family spread the word?

what a great idea! i LOVE the way it came out in our pictures.
we had bubble tubes on each of the seats for our ceremony. everyone sort of "knew" when to get the bubbles out and start making 'em.

that being said, i'm not sure what sugarman looks like so i can't really say how you'd do that, but like kaesha said, you could possibly include it in your program or your suggestion of the officiant announcing it?

Ah, this is why I love you ladies.  "Tanq your guests have common sense & would figure out when to use the bubbles if you put them on the chairs".  SO TRUE, dear, so true.

Programs & little tags are also an excellent idea.  How on earth I made this so complicated in my head is beyond me!  *cheers* and thanks!

<div>This.  I think most folks know what to do with the bubbles.  I had my cousins passing them out before the ceremony making sure to get the people closest to the aisles.  When they passed it out, they just did a quick blurb "this is for when the couple walks back down the aisle" or something like that.  It worked fine.  I used the bubbles from the knot store and it produces a LOT of bubbles.  I almost bought a bubble machine to supplement, but I'm glad I didn't because it wasn't necessary.  In fact, I kind of wish there were less bubbles -- the bubbles covered our faces in a lot of the photos we got walking down the aisle.</div>

Anyone have their guests toss flower petals? I'm hoping to do that and maybe leave little packs of petals on the end seats?

<div>A friend was going to do that and I was thinking of it -- but she told me if I do, to ask the florist for freeze dried petals if I did. Something about they take longer to fall to the ground so your chances of pics with petals in the air is greater... </div>

I've heard real petals can stain and our wedding will be on a balcony, so I'm thinkin we'd use fake ones and hope they don't look too cheesy.

I had people passing out tubes of bubbles as they arrived before my ceremony.  I think I had a label on it or something indicating that they should use it after we were pronounced Mr. & Mrs.  Worked out perfectly!
