Cupcake invoice

So only 6 weeks till the big day!!!!  We have several checks in the mail (the big ones), and everything is coming around.  All we have left if chosing some music, MC details, and gifts.
I was just wondering if anyone on here has dealt with Cakes by Joann?  We have been emailing and calling like crazy.  After a month, she says she tried calling, but no answer, and gave us a second # to use (which we thought was great)...well...we cant get through BOTH numbers lol.  We are needing an invoice so we know exactly what we are getting, and for there to be no surprises, but man, she is hard to get ahold of!  Other then her, Costco might be our back-up plan which we would like to avoid...so we will keep trying.

Joanne was our cake vendor, and frankly she was one of our worst vendors.  She totall blew us off and never replied to any of our requests.  Even my coordinator had the hardest time getting quotes and confirmations from her.  And then finally, when my cake was delivered, it was 1) very poorly made and looked ugly, 2) not following the design I specified.

I would totally have chosen a different vendor if I could do it all over again.  But, if your request is, "will my cake show up even if she's ignoring me?" -- the answer is most likely yes.

Thanks Tang.  We are getting cupcakes @ $3 each versus $4.50 at the other 2 big shops, mabye we need to re-think this:(...100 cupcakes...guess $100 might not be worth the hassle.

Her cupcakes are pretty tasty -- we had some as part of our cake tasting and she definitely does a nice job without overcooking them.  I just wasn't a fan of her style of not corresponding, and was very disappointed at how lopsided our "square" cake was supposed to be.  I'm a total, ridiculous perfectionist though   Sorry - I realize my comment was probably totally not helpful if you're already stressing.  My bad!

Haha that was the first thing I thought when I read your comment Tanq! Good information though and definitely worth letting her know! It sounds like you may be safe with the cupcakes. Are you doing a cake too or just cupcakes?

I was warned about Joann being unresponsive, but getting the job done.

I can't stand unresponsiveness either, so I went with someone else... 

But I agree with Tanq that I have heard she delivers...
