Aloha Ladies

My name is Krystal and I'm getting married Sept 20th in Waimanalo on Oahu. I'm excited to get to know you all and trade wedding ideas. Ed and I have been engaged for a long time, 5yrs, but it was well worth the wait. We are going to have a very simple and private wedding on Waimanalo beach (windward side). As much as I would love to have a big wedding, we'd much rather save for a house instead so with our parents blessing it will be just the two of us on the beach. We are planning a cocktail party reception for our closest family and friends upon our return where we'll share our wedding video with everyone. I don't have much to do in the way of planning, but I love all things wedding related. I'm looking forward to ooOOooing and ahhhhing at all of your wonderful wedding planning ideas. Welcome! I originally planned to get married in waimanolo too! It looked beautiful in photos. We ended up a bit further up the windward side near kaneohe & it was beautiful!! By far my favorite side of Oahu!

Thanks for all the love gals! The service we're using is Above Heaven's Gate. I fell in love with the location and Captn. Howie was the icing on my tropical cake lol.  We decided on the Pukalani Falls/Angels Bay package, 2 locations (across the street from each other thankfully) with ceremony on the beach.  Our beachfront cottage is right down the street (9 blocks away!) so it'll be easy getting there. I've never been to HI before so this is extra special for me, FI's been before, but a 5th grade trip doesn't really count lol. I am beyond excited! 

What about the rest of you ladies, which island and beach?

Aloha and welcome!  Congrats on the plans, Waimanalo is beautiful, while you are staying there make sure you eat at Kaneki's and have some shave ice!  I'm a local bride, living and working in Paradise!  I'm excited that my home is so many couples ideal wedding destination!  I'm sure your wedding will be beautiful beyond belief!
