Thanks everyone - I highly recommend Lanikuhonua!  You can see more photos from our wedding here:

That's so gorgeous!!  Love how the post says it's a "destination wedding done right" - so true!  I absolutely love the details, congrats!  :)

Your pics are awesome! Loved it! It's like dream came true!!! <3
My wedding date is on Sept. 30th and I just started planning it (I know I'm running a lot behind schedule)
I'm thinking of Lanikuhonua also and they are available on my date, but quoted me price for around $3000 incl. taxes. Do you think this rate reasonable? Because I saw a post earlier telling she got a local rate for only $1300 in 2008...I know it's 3 years ago but the price gap is too big to ignore...
Also, would you recommend phase 1 or 2? I have total of 45 guests...
Now I'm in deperate need of a planner since myself is not physically in Hawaii...any recommendations?:(
Thanks so much for helping out!

Rate was about $2850 plus insurance when we looked into it, so about $3000 is right.  We used Dianna from Hawaii Weddings and Events, she was amazing and kept us on track with our budget and got vendors we hadn't heard of but all did a great job at a good price.

Thanks a lot for your reply! I'm thinking of using Dianna too, but still deciding between Pacific Aisles, and Let's Do This. Have you interviewed the latter two? I think Dianna's rate is quite reasonable. And during my research, I found out that some Hawaiian planner charge a premium and I wanna know what I'm paying for the extra bux. It would be great if you can give any recommendations.

Btw, will you recommend Lani Phase 1 or 2 for my 45-people wedding? Thanks a lot!

We liked Phase II as the ceremony had a clearer view to the ocean.    We didn't interview Pacific Aisles and haven't heard of Let's Do This. We did consult with Weddings by Grace and Mona, Parasol Events and a Perfect Day and found their rates were almost twice what we paid.
