5 palms in kihei for wedding reception dinner

Hello, I'm slowly narrowing down our choices for a south side restarant for our small dinner reception. Curious if anyone has had a reception dinner at 5 palms. Wondering what atmosphere is like and food.

I've eaten there for breakfast and it was really good. The place was really pretty and the service was great.

Casey, I did email that place and inquired about a reservation. My concern is that they are not able to gaurenteed particular seating and that it will be ready at the time we need. I was hoping to find a place that could gaurentee us a nice table etc since it's a special occasion.

Oh that is not good at all.  Thanks for sharing, I appreciate any help with this as well.  Please keep me posted, I have a feeling I will be following in your footsteps for a restaurant reception.

One of the gals on here from when I got married had her reception at Five Palms and loved it!  There is a great seating area outside that they can partition off for you and I've heard great things about their food.  Good luck!

We are having our ceremony and reception there.  While I have not eaten there, I have heard GREAT things about it.  Apparently it's got one of the best restauant views on Maui and the food is supposed to be excellent.  Their event coordinator there is great as well....responds to emails quickly and has been great at answering my neverending questions.
