Looks good but it doesn't work for us for next year. They assure you the room so may not be a bad deal.

The reviews are mixed, but overall pretty solid on TripAdvisor.  It's still approximately $237 per night (ignoring breakfast and the luau) for what seems like a spacious (1100 square feet) but basic room.  The kicker is the oceanfront view.

You can currently book a GARDEN view cottage room for $169 per night from their own website:

This site also did a review of the premises:

Unless I'm reading the fine print incorrectly, it's actually for the Cottage Room and not the 1-br cottage so the sq. footage is only about 350.  I also don't think it has the kitchenette like the 1 & 2 bedrooms do.  Having never been to Maui I couldn't say if this is still a good deal or not, but thought it was worth pointing out.

We stayed at the Royal Lahaina for our honeymoon & I can vouch for the hotel...not the cottages. The hotel was remodeled recently & has a great location, beach, bar & food's decent. The breakfast buffet is just OK, but the location of the hotel IMO is great. My husband sent me the link & said "We have to go BAAAACCCKK!" Wish we could! :)
