Shoes for a beach wedding

Hi Girls! Quesiton - what kind of shoes are you wearing if your getting married on the beach in the sand? I was going to wear flip flops but now I'm thinking twice about it.... any ideas? Thanks!!

I'm getting married on the beach, and I picked up some cute wedges.  My FI is about a foot taller then I am, and I wanted to have some height in my shoes.  I'm of average height, but I just seem so much shorter then him wihout some type of heel.  I didn't want to get the traditional heel, for fear of not being able to walk in the sand.

I have tried these shoes on with my dress already, and they are so comfortable.  I can't wait to wear them for my wedding.  I also lucked out, and received a coupon for an additional $20 off the shoes.  They were definitely worth every penny, even if I didn't have the coupon.

We're doing barefoot for the whole wedding party.  I've bought some awesome heels to wear for the reception.

I didn't want to go barefoot b/c the sand can be really hot.  I decided no flip flops b/c of the floppy sand and noise.  I have strappy flat sandals and ballet flats that I'll choose between.  I'm leaning toward the ballet flats (in my bio) because I adore them.
