Flower Girl

Did any of you have a flower girl and got your petals through the florist? I've had a florist quote $45 for the basket and petals and others quote 7.50/bag for petals. Obviously a huge difference. Any ideas?

I didn't have a flower girl, but I was quoted $14.99/lb of rose petals...hope that helps a little...Other ideas would be to go to Costco/Safeway/Wherever to buy a dozen roses for $15 or less and pluck them yourself.
