LOL your invites made me hungry.  I want mac & cheese!  Invites are so exciting!  Here are my comments...

"two thousand eleven" -- no AND

I don't think you need the zip code for your locations

Does Kapalua Bay Beach have a street address?

Do you have a separate reception card insert for the wedding?

Finally, I assume you will use the same RSVP cards for both events (so if I am invited to both, I will receive 2 invites in separate envelopes?)  I might suggest you somehow distinguish which event people are RSVPing for?  Different email accounts for each event?  Such as weddingRSVP@ vs. receptionRSVP@

    1) You have informal and formal writing for the dates in the AHR.
    2) I am opposite of Tanq on the two thousand and eleven, I was told to have the and in there....so now I'm not sure which way it goes!  Also, I would keep the zip codes in there for people mapquesting or using gps.
    2) I didn't state the date I'm getting married on the actual invite even though it says it in the monogram on the front of the invite and in the background.  The reason for this was because I was scared people would see the first date and assume that was the AHR date.  Up to you on this though.  I just said we will be married in June two thousand and eleven.
    3) I put brunch reception on my DW invite because I wanted people to know it was for sure after the ceremony instead of that night.

Ha, I didn't even notice the two formats for the dates for the AHR! I like the idea of just putting June, 2011, but should I spell it out like June of two thousand and eleven? (Still undecided about the and...)

I wanted to do different email addresses for the RSVP but FI thought people who were invited to both would get confused... :P

Yes, you should still have the same format, so which ever you choose :)  I would research the and more and see what examples online say!

there's a rule about numbers with "and"...i think it says that you only use AND if there is a decimal...So if you were writing a check for $2011.12 it would be spelled out "two thousand eleven AND 12/100 dollars."  i know, it's weird, and i collect useless tidbits of information like this.

also another little thing..generally we say ON Maui, not IN Maui. Like saying ON island not IN island.

Maybe I should just write twenty eleven?  Twenty AND eleven just sounds silly and I KNOW that's wrong ;)

It's definitely Two Thousand Eleven. No ifs, "ands", or buts. :)

Wow - that's actually really helpful. I just designed mine and I totally didn't notice I wrote two thousand and eleven. Whew! Thanks all!
