Hi all. I just wanted to say that I am a bride on a tight budget like most. I decided to take my bridal party to the State Beauty Academy in Marion. They don't like to make appointments but when you tell them its for a wedding they work with you a little more. We went for my trial today and I got highlights a cut and my trial updo. My MOH did the same today. She was so skeptical about everything because they are students. But they did an AWESOME job. My color looks awesome. My FI said it like 10 times. Its the first time in a long time a stylist really listened to what i wanted and helped me pick out what would be the best. These girls are not working for money but for a grade. Their teacher is there the whole time and has to sign off on their work, so I just wanted to let you girls know their are different options out there to help you get beautiful with out the high price tag. OSU has salons all over columbus. I went to Marion because its closer to my house and cheaper. $11-16 for and updo and 7 for a manicure and $4.75 for a cut!
