Rehearsal brunch in Maui

Can anyone recommend a restaurant in Maui (Kihei or Wailea) for a rehearsal brunch? We would like a place with a great view and good food with reasonable prices. Any good experiences out there? Thanks!

5 Palms has been positively reviewed a number of times on the board.  I've eaten there -- the food is decent (actually I think the omlette was amazing and the giant pancake very meh) and the view quite nice (if you can ignore the pool or beachgoers tanning right in front of you as you eat).

Our rehearsal dinner & Sunday brunch will both be at Mala inside the Marriott Wailea.  I think brunch prices were around $24/pp.  I haven't eaten there, though, and can't speak to how tasty it is.

I've also heard good things about Five Palms for breakfast/brunch.  You might also check out Stella Blues.  It doesn't have the view of the Five Palms, but the breakfasts are great, it has a nice ambiance, and I'd guess the food is a little more affordable, if you're thinking about budget.

I've been trying to find a brunch, too.  Looked into Palms, but it's pretty pricey there.  Haven't found the right place, yet.

Our rehearsal is going to be at 9am, so I am also interested if anyone has recommendations in the Lahaina or Kihei area.  Our location is between the 2, so we could go either way.  Thanks ladies!

And OMG - the Hawaiian Sweet Bread french toast at 5 Palms sounds AMAZING - perhaps we will have to check that out when we are on island!

Five Palms would definitely be my #1 pick for brunch on island, or if you're staying at a resort, just go there :) Easier is always better...

The Five Palms menu is on their website and they serve breakfast/lunch all day until 3PM.

We are having the same ordeal. My wedding is at the Five Palms, so not there. We are between having the brunch at Gannon's or at Mala at the Marriot. Both look really nice!
