How long did you wait for your wedding photos???

I recently had my wedding on Maui in early November.  Before signing the contract and all that, my photographer said it normally takes her 2 weeks to edit and enhance the photos, that's one of the reasons why I went with her .. because of her fast turnaround time.  But it has been a month now .. so I'm just wondering how long you guys were waiting to get them.

It was about 3 weeks for us, but our photos were JUST blogged. Depending on your photographer's workload and how long they put into editing, this is reasonable. 2 weeks is actually a pretty quick turnaround time.

However, since she told you 2 weeks and it's been longer, that's not okay without some communication. Have you asked what's up?

Yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong with dropping your photog a friendly line to see what the status of things is. Things could be caught up in the holiday mail somewhere. FWIW, I think we got teasers in 2 weeks and the full set within a month or so. As our photographer got busier, our wait time has increased. It was about a month for teasers for our anniversary shoot and 6 weeks for the dvd.

We got our teasers the next day, but it took about 6 weeks to get all of our photos.  They were well worth the wait!!
