Ko'Olina/Lani brides...what shoes?

OKay, so I am having a tough time choosing shoes! My wedding planner told me to make sure that I have a "chunky" heel because our ceremony is on a lawn/grass...are wedges inappropriate? What are you wearing? Thanks a bunch

I wore kitten heels and didn't sink it at all then I changed in to wedge slippers for the reception.

Well I am wearing high heels and am a little nervous. I may have to kick them off for the ceremony. I have really heard mixed reviews about those sole mates too. I don't know if they are worth the effort.

I too want to wear something a bit high- my fiance is 6'0 and I am 5'3 so I thought it would be appropriate. I have never heard of sole mates? WIll google them now I will also look up wedge slippers. I just want my ceremony and reception shoes to be near the same height- have to consider alterations. Thank you!!

You can get those things to put on your heels to make it so you can walk in the grass.  That's what I am planning on doing.

I wore 3 inch heels for ceremony and changed to the same size wedge sandal for reception.  I had no issues what so ever.  The grass was even a bit wet from rain the day before.  I agonized over it too before the wedding, but I'm glad I went with my heels.
