Plantation Gardens or The Beach House? (Kauai)

Good Morning ladies!

I've been super MIA around here lately, but we've finally narrowed down our choices for our dinner reception to either Plantation Gardens or The Beach House. Both are very similar in terms of what they offer and the price so we're having a tough time making our decision.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these restaurants? Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Plantation Gardens, hands down!  We had our wedding and reception there last year, the  food was delicious and we had great service.  My mom actually went back to Kauai last month and ate at both places and she said Plantation Gardens was much better, in her opinion.  We also ahd the most amazing wedding cake there, white cake with this very fluffy white icing with fruit in between the layers.

I'm doing mine at plantation gardens.  Although the Beach House looked wonderful, the total cost for us was lower at plantation gardens since we had a food and beverage minimum as opposed to a site fee with food on top of that.  For us, we liked that for the same price, we could get better quality food (and more of it!)

    Good luck!

I'm having my reception at Plantation Gardens. I heard terrible reviews from many people about the quality of food at the Beach House.

I am doing my wedding at Plantation Gardens this July.  I have a few questions for brides who did their weddings there:

What food options did you pick?  What was GREAT?  What was so-so?

What cake flavors do you suggest?  Did you use their baker?

Where were your tables?  How did you set them up?  One long table?  Multiple side-by-side tables?  How many guests?  We're expecting around 60-65.

Any vendors you loved/hated?  Officiants, musicians, florists?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Kristy
