Bouquets and boutineers or leis? I'm leaning toward leis because its Hawaii. Maybe I can put together bouquets and boutineers for the AHR... Any thoughts?

    We are doing leis. I'm the only one who has a bouquet. But, it's made out of shells.

    Aloha ~

    Ours will be a small initmate ceremony (4-5 in attendance) on the beach, so only DF and I will have bouquet/boutineer, as during our ceremony leis will be exchanged between us. But also, I will have leis for those who will join us =)

    I think it depends on what you want, right?

    I know for me, I don't want a wedding that's Hawaiian related, so to break it down, my bridesmaids as well as myself are getting bouquets, only my FI is wearing a boutonnière, and our family members are wearing leis. I think they'd appreciate it being in Hawaii...

    I believe I will have both. I think a lei is in my package and after thinking about walking "down the aisle/beach" with nothing in my hands I ordered a bouquet. I thought I would look weird without one.

    It's totally personal preference.  We did bouquets (me & sis), bouts (dh, his bro, and the dads), and pin-on corsages (moms & sil).  Our wedding wasn't really Hawaiian themed -- no Hawaiian music, ceremony, food, etc so I decided leis wouldn't fit.  However, if they are your style, I think they are a beautiful & unique element you don't find in many other places!

    I get a bouquet with my package, FI gets a lei.  I'm doing a lei too, as well as for our parents.  Since everyone else was getting one, I figured I should too.  Plus it's Hawaii!!  Why not??  :)

    Special leis for parents, my FI, and groomsmen, and simple leis for all 70 guests.  My bridesmaids and myself get bouquets.  DIY for bridesmaids (calli lillies), splurge on mine;)

    I had both tea leaf leis and all orchid bouquets.  Here is my bouquet it was very affordable and beautiful.
