What's your next "event"?

I'm always motivated by being excited about something else that lies ahead.  For us right now, it's the AHR this weekend and our honeymoon after that.  I know for many of you planning, it's the wedding.  But what else lies ahead that has you excited?  They can be major milestones like babies and marriage, or minor like dinner at a great restaurant this Friday...

Red Sox game this Friday night in Anaheim.  We're leaving extra early so I can have my beer and hot dog in hand for the 1st pitch!

My niece is getting married in 6 weeks so it'll be fun to go to a traditional wedding with a reception.

We're taking my dad to see Cirque du soleil this Saturday which is pretty exciting, and then our next big thing is our vacation with FI's family to the Outerbanks in July. THEN our wedding

Finishing Grad school this May, so excited to walk the stage and be done.  Looking forward to a vacation in the Canary islands in November with FI.  Those are the two big events I look forward to.

I'm going to see cirque du soleil too! is it the dralion one you're seeing? I have tons of events this year, I am going wedding dress shopping 2 weeks from today, cirque du soleil 2 weeks from saturday, my good friend is getting married in august (my first time as a bridesmaid) and i am finishing grad school in december, about a month before my wedding

Oh geez, I'm counting down by minor milestones right now.

Work wise - while I'm losing my current position, there's a huge chance that I can stay at the school as Head of Arts if I go back to school and get my Drama Specialist license this summer. So... that's the current plan, go back to school during July (and during the next school year) so I can get a raise and a position of responsibility. I'm terrifed because it means a ton of work for me on top of teaching 3 new classes to me.

Fun wise - Wedding on Salt Spring on July 30th, then Kauai and Maui and beginning the whole TTC process.

So... I'll hopefully survive the upcoming year, have a new job, baby (and if we've got that going on, we definitely have to get ourselves a place).

FI graduates from college on the 1st, my bridal shower is the 21st, dress fitting on the 5th, then our wedding in July!  Then.....babies!

Wow, so much exciting stuff!  I love Cirque! 

AKWB - babies scare me.  I can barely feed myself...the possibility of me being responsible for another human life is ... frightening.

I'm going to Florida in just over a week to compete at the Wold Championships for Cheerleading.  First time for me, so I'm super excited.  Wish I could see Cirque.  Our tickets are for later in the year

Im looking forward to a big group camping trip with friends for memorial day weekend up in the san juan islands. Before that im looking fwd to finishing spring quarter and taking off summer break from school. Summer is gonna be great, lots of hiking trips and gardening in store! And im with you on the baby stuff Tanq...maybe when im like 29 in a few years i wont be so afraid of them!

my minor event is Saturday! I convinced DH to wake up early so we can watch the sunrise. Then I actually get off early from work (usually I work late) so he is going to meet me there, we'll get dinner and head down to the beach to watch the sunset. I don't know why I am so excited but I am - definitely gives me something to look forward to this week!

In the near future... I am so excited for May and June because I have orders for 6 cakes! It is going to be so fun and challenging at the same time.

I'm so excited, my shower is this Saturday!!  Then after that is my bach party in 3 weeks, FI and his family fly in in just over 5 weeks and the wedding is in just over 6! Eeeeeeeeee!  Getting so close!!!

Well we leave next week for Hawaii. That is a big one. 14 days until the wedding. We just starting planning our AHR. 

Motolynn: Congrats on finishing grad school. I am sure everyone is asking what you will do with all of your free time. It is such a huge relief to be finished. After a month you will think how did I ever fit that in. 

Kaesha: good luck. I was laid off last week as well. I may have a position with my company and looking at others as well. That unknown is a little stressful.

Right now we are trying to get as much done as possible on our house before our engagement party in June.  I'm pretty excited for that!

Baby's scare me too, and I think I'm getting too old to have kids anyway so I'm leaning toword no kids at the moment.  Sure wish we'd have more time of "pretending to try" though. :-)

Jealous! I'm a New England girl and miss going to Sox games every summer like I used to. Hopefully they'll get it together and win this one..they're starting to make me wonder why I was so excited for baseball season. Have fun!
